About ITH Sport

Sportswear Manufacturing for B2B Partners

ITH Sport represents the longest-established sector-specific manufacturing experience within ITH Group. That background is built on nearly two decades of production for premium Italian sportswear brands.

We work with sportswear brands, distributors and private-label partners in cycling, running, teamwear and outdoor apparel. Emerging brands need production-ready technical documentation.

Our role is contract manufacturing. Products are manufactured according to customer-approved technical information rather than developed as ITH-owned collections. We do not manufacture unauthorised third-party branded products. The customer must hold the necessary rights and approvals for all supplied brand names, logos and artwork.

Sport Manufacturing Capabilities

Managing Garment Variants Within Repeat Production

We assess recurring seasonal programmes, repeat orders and outsourced production, including private-label work from customer-owned documentation. Programmes may cover multiple models, size-set and pre-production approvals followed by serial production, or commercially suitable team and event batches. Every programme is reviewed according to technical readiness, quantities, preparation requirements, schedule and repeat potential.

Depending on the product and approved specification, Sport projects may involve:

  • Size-range and size-ratio management
  • Multiple colourways
  • Multiple artwork or sponsor versions
  • Model and style identification
  • Customer-specific labels
  • Names, numbers or other approved variable branding
  • Product and size-based packing
  • Recurring production of approved styles
  • Batch and delivery-phase organisation
  • Agreed quality documentation

Only capabilities confirmed as suitable for the individual garment construction and production programme are included in the accepted scope.

Preparing an Enquiry

Information Needed to Review a Sport Project

How quickly a sportswear enquiry can be assessed depends mainly on the technical readiness of the garment. The information below helps us assess the project; for a first enquiry it is enough to send what you already have:

  • Product type
  • Estimated quantities
  • Expected size range and size ratios
  • Technical pack or complete specification
  • Approved pattern or physical sample
  • Construction and sewing details
  • Selected fabrics and components
  • Colourways
  • Logos, artwork and branding requirements
  • Labelling and packing instructions
  • Target delivery date
  • Information on possible recurring orders

ITH Sport manufactures from a technical basis the customer has approved. Product design and standalone pattern development are not part of the manufacturing offer. Confirming production needs a sufficient technical basis; where that is not there yet, we clarify it at the start of the conversation.

Project Materials

Customer-Supplied Materials and Agreed Sourcing Support

Customer-supplied fabrics, trims and components are welcome and are often the clearest production model, particularly where colour has to stay consistent across repeat runs of an approved style.

This allows the customer to retain control over:

  • Material specification and quality
  • Colour consistency
  • Supplier selection
  • Continuity between production runs
  • Replacement availability
  • Commercial responsibility for supplied inputs

How materials and components are supplied, and who is responsible for them, is agreed project by project. Where appropriate, sourcing support may be discussed through established partners for selected fabrics, zippers, elastic, labels, threads or other components.

Availability, samples, approvals, timing, cost and continuity must be agreed before production.

ITH Sport does not manufacture the underlying fabric and cannot guarantee that every requested material or component can be sourced through its supplier network.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About Sport Manufacturing

We do not publish one universal minimum order quantity. Suitable quantities depend on the garment, preparation requirements, complexity and repeat potential. Larger-volume and recurring B2B production is our main focus.

An existing sample may support technical review, but it must represent the required construction and may need to be accompanied by patterns, measurements or other production information.

No. ITH Sport focuses on contract manufacturing according to customer-approved documentation. Product design and collection development are not standard services.

Standalone pattern development is not a standard service. The customer should normally provide an approved pattern, technical pack or other sufficient production basis.

Yes. Customer-supplied fabrics, accessories and components are welcome and often provide the clearest control over quality and continuity.

Selected sourcing support may be discussed through partners, but availability, quality, lead time and continuity are not guaranteed.

Only when the customer has the necessary legal rights and authorisation to use the supplied trademarks, logos and artwork. ITH Group does not manufacture unauthorised branded products.

Where required, an approval or pre-production sample may be manufactured. Sample production is project-dependent and may involve additional cost.

Yes, where the project documentation, materials and production plan clearly define all required variants.

Project-specific packing and identification may be agreed by product, model, colour, size, set or delivery phase.

An apparel programme sometimes sits inside a wider project — an activation that also needs branded event products, or a venue that also needs guest and staff textiles.
